In the spirit of William Morris’ concern for the environment and interest in natural dyes, the William Morris Gallery has invited some of London’s leading ethical designers to present their Spring/Summer ’10 collections.Green People is one of the sponsors of this ethical fashion event and will be donating some organic skin care products so make sure to grab a goodie bag!Located at Lloyd Park, Forest Road, London, on March 11 2010, the William Morris Gallery will open their doors at 7pm, with an ethical catwalk show commencing at 8pm. Alongside watching a unique catwalk show, guests will also have the opportunity to speak with the designers themselves or even purchase a fabulous piece of fashion or craft.London based DJ Luke Franklin, will be producing music throughout the night and local caterer, Skye Cooks, will also be providing organic canapes on arrival.This fantastic event will showcase garments designed by eight of London’s leading ethical fashion labels, including Emmeline 4 RE, Feng Ho, Nancy Dee, Elena Garcia, Sew Last Season, Miksani, Beautiful Soul, Tammam as well as ethical shoe designer Bourgeois Boheme.The show will be introduced by guest speaker Amisha Ghadiali, who is the associate director of the Ethical Fashion Forum, as well as designer for independent jewelry label, Amisha; with craft and accessory designers Queenie & Ted, Lili Spain, Emma Ware, Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining, and Peppermint Twist also exhibiting their work on the night.Tickets for the Ethical Fashion Show at the William Morris Gallery are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting the Gallery on 020 8496 4390.
